Terms and Conditions for use of the DID4All Technical Assistance Helpdesk:
Completion of the ‘New Request’ form will assist DFAT to appropriately log, monitor (and where necessary approve) DID4All Helpdesk task requests.
By submitting a new request you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions of accessing the helpdesk facility.
By submitting a New Request form you agree that:
- The information accessible through this secure part of the website is to be used for the purposes of assisting with implementation of projects related to disability inclusive development, and is not for public use unless prior permission is obtained from CBM Australia.
- You have allowed at least a two week turnaround for the provision of advice (or you have specifically negotiated a shortened timeframe for the provision of advice with Director, DPS or relevant Approver)
- You have obtained the necessary approvals from your Desk or Post for the final technical assistance request and indicated this approval on the request form you upload.
- Your request relates to programs or projects funded by the Australian aid program
- The details that you provide in your New Request form including:
- Your name as requestor
- The country and region to which your request relates
- The thematic sector to which your request relates
- The nature of the technical assistance required
- The title of the request
- The due date
- Approximate time needed to complete the task
- Whether travel is required
- Approximate cost of travel, accommodation and per diems
- The uploaded documentation outlining the task and any attachments will be able to be viewed by officers of the DFAT Disability Policy Section (and other DFAT officers who have been granted relevant access privileges) for the purposes of monitoring of requests and for reporting.
- You are aware that any requests that involve more than 3 days work will be sent to the Director, Disability Policy Section, DFAT (or other relevant Approver) for approval prior to being submitted to DID4All Helpdesk and that sufficient time for clearance has been factored into due dates
- You are aware that any requests involving travel expenditure will be sent to the relevant Approver (currently Director, DPS) for approval prior to being submitted to DID4All Helpdesk and that sufficient time for clearance has been factored into due dates
- You will liaise as necessary with the relevant DID4All staff on any aspects of the task requiring further clarification or discussion to renegotiate the task or timeframes if required
- You will complete the necessary forms generated by the DID4All Helpdesk system in a timely manner to enable the task to be progressed to completion
- You will complete the Final Feedback Form, to contribute to ensuring a high quality of technical assistance is maintained.
The DID4All Helpdesk agrees that
- It will allocate your request in a timely manner and ensure that you are advised who is handling your technical assistance request as soon as possible after receiving the request
- Your request will be treated as confidential information, as subject to a non-disclosure agreement, and will be appropriately stored and filed both electronically and in hard copy
- You will be kept informed of progress on your technical assistance request
- You will receive the task in the timeframe requested, unless explicitly negotiated otherwise.
All personal information which is collected through this website is collected and held in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988.
Your personal information will only be used for the purpose for which it was provided or in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988. We will not disclose your personal information to a third party except in the following circumstances, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988, where
- You have consented to use of the information for another purpose;
- We believe on reasonable grounds that use of the information for another purpose is necessary to prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to the life or health of the individual concerned or another person;
- Use of the information for that other purpose is required or authorised by or under law;
- Use of the information for that other purpose is reasonable necessary for enforcement of the criminal law or of a law imposing a pecuniary penalty, or for the protection of the public revenue; or
The purpose for which the information is used is directly related to the purpose for which the information was obtained.
